How to prove mathematical statements

I know that proving statements may be difficult. One needs to learn how to do this. Thus I decided to illustrate the process of proving by a simple example. If you want to look at it, click here. For a similar but more complicated example, click here. These are not examples of proofs, these are examples of the ``dialog" (a one actor play?) leading to a proof.

If you want to know about different types of proofs, click here. Your comments are welcome as usual.
