Announcements:
- As indicated on the syllabus, there will be a Final Exam at the time indicated by the registrar. The final exam is comprehensive, but there will be a greater emphasis on the recent material (Chapter 16) that has not yet been tested. The final exam is scheduled as follows:
- Section 09 (10am class): Final Exam from 3:00–5:00pm on Tuesday December 11, in SC 1120.
- Section 10 (11am class): Final Exam from 3:00–5:00pm on Saturday December 15, in SC 1431.
- During Exam Week, I will hold office hours at the following times
- Mon Dec 10 from 12:30–2:00,
- Tue Dec 11 from 1:00–2:30, and
- Thu Dec 13 from 1:30–3:00.
- The Seventh Homework Assignment has been posted; due Wednesday Dec 5.
- The Math Department's Tutored Study Hall services begin on Monday Sept 3. All calculus students are welcome to attend the study hall, where skilled tutors will be on hand to answer questions and provide support with course concepts. Attending regularly is particularly beneficial and recommended. The study hall is staffed Mon/Tue/Wed from 4:30–6:30 and Thur 5:10–6:30 in SC 1307.
- Vanderbilt's Tutoring Services are now open for Fall 2018. The tutoring staff provides help with a variety of introductory and intermediate courses. Students can schedule one-on-one tutoring sessions or reserve group study sessions. Services are free of charge.
