| The conference will take place in the Historic Menger Hotel. We have reserved a block of rooms in this hotel at a special conference rate. The hotel is adjacent to the Alamo and the famous riverwalk. We urge you to stay in the Menger Hotel during the conference, both for your convenience, and also to help us keep the cost of the meeting rooms as low as possible. We also highly recommend that you make reservations as early as possible since the number of rooms blocked in the hotel is limited. Note that the hotel has a cutoff date for receiving the conference rates. Also note that you must make your hotel reservation on your own, the conference organizers will not be able to do this for you. |

(2) Reservations cancelled after 48 hours prior to arrival will be assessed one night's room and tax. (3) Parking rates are: $25 plus 8.25 % tax for Valet parking; there are various city lots around the hotel from $12-$20 a day. (4) When you check in, the hotel will ask you for a departure date. If you leave before that date, they charge a penalty of $75. (5) Our block of rooms is being held only until April 30, so make your reservation by then to ensure you get a room at this rate. (6) This rate is available for 3 days before and 3 days after the meeting. (7) The hotel will provide us with free internet access. |

| There are of course many hotels in San Antonio, and quite a few of them are close to the Alamo, and thus close to the Menger. However, we would like to urge you to stay in the Menger, since if we do not use our quota of reserved rooms, we will incur additional charges for the meeting rooms. This could impact our coffee breaks and reception. |
