We are pleased that you will be attending our Combinatorial and Geometric Group Theory conference in conjunction with The 21st Annual Shanks Lecture. The conference is in honor of Alexander Yu. Olshanskii's 60th birthday.

 

Olshanskii's lecture will be on Friday, May 5, at 9:00 a.m. in Stevenson Center (SC) 4309.

 

The Shanks lecture by Alex Lubotzky will be held at 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, in SC 4309. A short reception will follow his lecture at 6:00 p.m. on our campus, and a dinner party at the Holiday Inn Select Vanderbilt is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. that evening.
