Reservations are required (there is no airport desk). The services operate roughly from 4 a.m. to midnight (but they will wait longer if your flight is delayed coming in).
Taxi fare to the Vanderbilt area is approximately $25-$30 one way. There is a taxi stand at the airport. However, it is not easy to hail a taxi on the streets in Nashville, so making a reservation to return to the airport is advised.

City bus (MTA) Route 18 (Elm Hill Pike/Airport) goes from the airport to Music City Central downtown and runs roughly once per hour. Routes 3, 5, and 7 service the Vanderbilt area. Schedules are available at the Airport Welcome Center on the baggage claim level and on the MTA website.
